Tornado By Ruby W

Tornado

Everything was still……

After a day of thunder and lightning it seemed really strange for it to be so still. It was 9: oo at night and I was just heading to bed. When I heard a crash as though a giant had tipped a box of cans on our roof. But at the same time I felt like I was being rained on. I stopped were I was.

I took a glance at the roof and watched all the plaster start falling down. My eyes were now burning red.  Then it stopped I could hear screams from the footpath and on the road tornado  I seized up then a wave of relief came over me when I heard it was over.
